Snapper Derbey - A grand success!
There were blue skys and cream pies, not to mention four ties!
August 23 - a day of fun and fishing. Lindenhurst peir, at the end of South Wellwood Avenue was the scene of kids competing for bikes and trophies.
Lindenhurst Rotary Club sponsors a day of family fun but the community wasted no time in showing its appreciation.
While kids enjoyed the snapper fishing, adults dug in and purchased chances for our Supermarket Sweepstakes, an annual event that raises money for our local food pantries.
Thank you to all volunteers that helped make this event special and thanks to WALK Radio for supporting our club by getting the word out.
